Covid-19 can't survive if it can't find anyone to replicate or reproduce in. We can all do our part to protect people. Face masks help to stop the spread of the virus to others.
We're making a special edition face mask and here are the specifications
800 thread count makes the space between threads very small and more difficult for droplets to pass through. Whilst there is no guarantee that they won't it will help prevent spread.
100% Egyptian cotton means that the masks are softer for all day use.
Double layer means more protection and provided the space for a pocket for the filter.
Pocket is for adding an extra layer for protection of a filter. You can choose the filter you would like and cut it to size. HEPA which stands for high-efficiency particulate air/absorbing/arrestance (for information see HEPA facts), and if fitting fully can remove from the air that passes through—at least 99.95% (European Standard)[4] or 99.97% (ASME, U.S. DOE)[5][6] of particles whose diameter is equal to 0.3 μm. HEPA filters are usually used to help people with allergies and can be purchased from places that sell filters such as hardware stores and where vacuum supplies are sold. If you do add a filter please discard it and replace with a fresh new one after every use.
Ties make it easy to make the masks fit and fitting them close to the face is important to not allow air to flow onto the mouth and nose without passing through the mask.
Machine washable for cotton fabric. It is recommended that the masks are washed on warm water and that an oxygenating bleach is added to the wash cycle. If you can dry the masks outside in sunlight because UV kills the virus on non-living surfaces.
The design and construction is here in the United States. The fabric is 100% Egyptian cotton sheets made in India. They have written 'Our 100% Egyptian cotton sheet sets are manufactured in the most eco-friendly process at our manufacturing facilities. The carbon footprint of our products are minimal.'
